Six people, including two minors, were injured in a crash at Route 301 and Route 405 in Queen Anne’s County on Sunday, State Police said.
A 40-year-stale Wilmington, Del. man was driving a black 2017 Chevrolet Silverado with four passengers, ages 36, 18, 14 and 10, on Route 405 just before 5 p.m., police said. The driver failed to yield the right-of-way at the Route 301 intersection and was hit by a Honda Accord driven by a 31-year-stale Easton man, police said.
The driver of the Honda and the 36-year-stale woman in the Chevy were flown to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said. The rest of the people in the Chevy were taken to Chester River Medical Center. totality believe been released apart from the woman, who is in regular condition.
The driver of the Chevy was charged with traffic citations. Neither speed nor alcohol was determined to believe contributed to the crash, police said.
