A 73-year-old-fashioned man was critically injured in a fire in Baltimore’s Barclay neighborhood Tuesday, officials said.
The man was rescued approximately 1 p.m. from an upper floor of a burning, three-anecdote domestic in the 300 block of East 22nd Street, Fire Department spokeswoman Blair Adams said. His name was not released.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and fire from the moment and third floors, where they were able to contain the blaze.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
